Jivani Lisa has been teaching Hatha Yoga for 23 years and Raja Yoga in a university setting since 2012.  She comes from a Group Exercise and Personal Training background beginning in 1985.  Beyond the basic 200-hour yoga teacher training, she completed over 300 hours of advanced training in Integral Yoga at Satchidananda Ashram - Yogaville (Buckingham, VA).  Jivani holds a BA degree in Anthropology with Highest Honors from the University of Hawaii at Manoa where she wrote an honors thesis on the human skeleton.  Jivani is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with a master's degree in mental health counseling from Old Dominion University.

Jivani Lisa is available for individual and couples' Yoga sessions, and available for private events such as birthday parties and family reunions where Yoga can be used as a fun group activity. She is also available to teach workshops on Yoga for Optimal Wellness, Yoga for Stress Management, and to assist with Yoga Teacher Trainings (YTT) at the 200 and 500-hour levels.
