Hello! I’m Rebecca—yoga teacher, meditation guide, and lover of life. I help anxious and overwhelmed people reconnect with their bodies and find their inner peace. I believe yoga and meditation help people live happier and healthier lives by strengthening the bond between mind and body.

My favorite yoga pose is shavasana, corpse pose, the pose of complete relaxation. When I taught yoga in New York City, I made it my mission to get those stressed out city-dwellers to relax! I became known for a good shavasana. So I took my passion one step further and created my most special offering: Swaddled Shavasana, a deeply relaxing sensory deprivation experience using linen sheets and weighted blankets that has helped many feel safe enough to finally let go of mental, emotional, and physical tension.

In the theme of relaxation, my other favorite offering is Yoga Nidra, or “sleep yoga.” Yoga Nidra is a specific form of guided meditation practiced in shavasana, of course. Not only is it extremely relaxing, Yoga Nidra can help with sleep issues such as insomnia as well healing from trauma and ptsd.

Lastly, I’m attuned to channel Reiki, a universal life energy, which has helped me undo energetic stress that has at times manifested physically (hello, TMJ!). It’s my great pleasure to channel this timeless energy to help you heal whatever ails you.

Aside from my work, I’m committed to my own healing journey and practice what I preach! I also love cooking and feeding my friends and family. I’m currently finishing my bachelors degree with plans to go on to earn a doctorate in occupational therapy. I’m excited to take my love of healing the relationship of self and body to new avenues as an occupational therapist!
