Jennifer Barsky has extensive yoga training. She obtained her 500 hour certification in India where she studied Ashtanga and Hatha as well as meditation, pranayama and the foundations of yoga traditions. Her own practice began when she was 19 years old with Sivananda and Ashtanga, and she has since spent the past 25 years working with renowned teachers of Kripalu, Bikram and Iyengar as well as studying a range of hot yoga and vinyasa styles.
She can teach any level and adapt to all body types, capabilities and interests. She is particularly fond of teaching yoga fundamentals of alignment to ensure students safely get the most out of their practice and to developing challenging vinyasa practices which both build strength as well as flexibility through flow and breath. She complements her teaching with wellness coaching.
