Anita graduated from a 400-hour yoga teacher training at Willow Street Yoga Center, Takoma Park, MD, in 2005.  Besides attending numerous workshops, she completed a 50-hour training course expanding on the fundamental practices of Asana at Golden Heart Yoga in Annapolis, MD, in 2006.  She also completed the eight-day intensive "Integrative Yoga for Seniors Professional Training" at Duke Integrative Medicine in Durham, NC, in 2010.  She taught yoga classes in Alexandria, VA, USA, from 2005 to 2023. She relocated to Germany in 2023.

While emphasizing mindfulness and alignment, Anita teaches classes that are lighthearted and encourage students to take their yoga off the mat bringing more balance into their daily lives.
