Huong’s journey with yoga first started in 2013. She uncovered the depth of yoga as a practice, a lifestyle, a means of sharing her passion with others and most importantly a life long study in the art of living. Huong’s knowledge is grounded in Eastern philosophies as well as biomechanics, functional anatomy, neuroscience, and physiology .
Her biggest inspiration started with Jonas Westring’s Shantaya school, which had a deep impact on the way she sees yoga philosophy as a profound embodiment practice for the body, mind and spirit.
Huong has completed over 1000 hours of teacher training and has taught over 5000 hours in classes, private sessions, workshops, retreats and teacher training courses. She is a
certified Anusara Yoga Teacher and E-RYT 500 Yoga Teacher. She started assisting and co - teaching in teacher training since 2017 and has been her own school at the same time. Now she is a lead trainer with lots of experiences in 200H, 300H Advanced yoga teacher training courses... Inspired by a calling to continually deepen her learning and sharing with wider groups of students, she created Purna Yoga School to provide training and mentorship programs for practitioners as well as yoga instructors, coaches, health care professionals with the aim of bringing like-minded people together as a community. | |
