Anneke (MSc, C-IAYT) is a certified yoga therapist, yoga & meditation teacher and trauma therapist with a passion for integrative health. She is the co-founder of Samarasa Academy, a Yoga Therapy & Healing school.
Anneke is an enthusiast of life, connectivity, and that which drives humans to evolve and aspire. She has experienced yoga’s deep healing power on many occasions—first as a fervent practitioner and student, and later as a teacher.

"Yoga means union, on a very metaphysical level, but also on a very down to earth practical level. A union with the body, the feelings, with what is arising in every moment. How can we go beyond anything if we do not know it fully and intimately? Awareness as such has no direction. It can be trained in deep closed eyed meditation, and it can be equally trained in deep connection with the contraction of a muscle in a posture or the simple but profound awareness of the feet on the ground."
