After having practiced law for a couple years and not finding any job satisfaction, I started looking for other options. My health, physical as well as mental, had deteriorated a lot. I decided to move into the field of health and nutrition. Out of all the options, Yoga seemed the most obvious choice as it had been a part of the household growing up. The principles and practices of what we call ‘Yoga’ had very much been a part of our culture. Doing the courses (YTT) revived me; helped me physically and mentally.
Since then, I have been sharing this knowledge as a teacher, and the experience certainly has been fulfilling.
I have been learning, researching and sharing about – Yoga Philosophy, Yoga Anatomy, Art of Teaching. With respect to asana practice and classes, I have been teaching – Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin yoga classes as well as Pranayam, Meditation and Mantra Chanting.
