A passionate Yin Yoga practitioner and teacher, Leonie offers the following programs:

Module 1 - Introduction to Yin Yoga Teacher Training 50 hours, based on the work of Paul Grilley, Jo Phee and Sarah Powers. This module covers functional anatomy and alignment, posture analysis and practice, teaching methodology, sequencing

Module 2 - The Energy Body - Yin Yoga Teacher Training 50 hours. This module investigates more deeply the chakras, somatic awareness, meridian theory and the role of the teacher.  

Leonie also delivers units of practice in props, restorative yoga, yoga philosophy and Yin yoga as part of The Yoga Social Teacher Training team 200 hour and 150 hour post graduate programs. 

In addition to her yoga teaching business, Leonie holds a Diploma in Clinical Pilates and a Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy. She runs regular retreats and Yin Yoga teacher trainings. 

Leonie is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance (USA) & YACEP, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS). She is a Level 2 Intermediate teacher with Yoga Australia.
