I first discovered yoga in 2006. With a long background in dance, I was surprised it didn't feel easier in my body first try. I have since learned that yoga is not about trying to achieve anything, look a certain way in a posture, or necessarily even being "good" at it. The one most important thing about yoga is showing up for yourself, showing up to practice in your own unique body. That's it. If you're there with the intention to practice, you are doing yoga. For me yoga has become a way to express myself in the moment no matter how I am feeling or what I'm going through in my life. It's a space where I can fully practice accepting myself.
I am very excited to be able to share a holistic practice of yoga. I really want to help provide a sacred space for people to come and feel safe and supported, the same space that I have had access to through my own journey into yoga.
