Practicing yoga has enriched my life for more than 20 years. It helps combat my biggest enemy….stress! After years of ignoring messages from my body about my wellbeing, I’ve finally realized that self-care is not selfish. My yoga practice has gifted me with breathing techniques, meditation strategies, and poses which nourish my mind, body, and spirit.
I believe anyBODY can do yoga. In my class, students are reminded that they are in a no judgement zone and I encourage them to listen to their bodies because it is their practice. We nurture tranquility together.
When I’m not on my mat, you can usually find me outside on our farm in the country, climbing trees, doing handstands in the grass, cultivating, and collecting experiences. Family and a passion for wellness are at the center of my world. I try to live in the present moment one breath at a time.
