Lenora also works privately with clients who are seeking a transformative and integrative approach to Yoga and wellness that enables them to heal from the past and flourish in the present - physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
As an ordained pastor in the United Methodist Church, Lenora believes there are "seeds of truth in all things" (Justin Martyr) and often pulls from a variety of spiritual resources. Throughout the years, Lenora offers Yoga Chapel retreats and weekly Yoga Chapel services, conferences, and retreats that are centered around universal Judeo-Christian themes such as love, grace, peace, kindness, service, joy, hope, forgiveness, healing, and transformation.
Lenora currently offers Yoga Classes and Yoga Teacher Training Education via two Paths: a Traditional Path and a Christ-Centered Path. The Traditional Path honors the wisdom of ancient and modern Yoga philosophy in ways that empower each student to thrive in body, mind, heart, and spirit as they cultivate their own sense of connection to all that is eternal through universal themes of unconditional love, light, acceptance, hope, healing, growth, peace, forgiveness, restoration, transformation, unity, and community. The Christ-Centered Path follows the exact same format for classes and training while incorporating Yoga Chapel services. Yoga Chapel services are Hatha and Yin Yoga classes led in ways that honor the wisdom of ancient and modern Yoga philosophy while integrating Biblical principles and verses to expand the collective understanding of what it means to worship God with our whole being as we seek to love God, love others, and love themselves from a place of increasing wholeness, unity, community, and abundant life.
As a YACEP provider, Lenora is committed to being a welcoming and inclusive teacher. As the Director and Lead Instructor for the The Pointe of Grace Yoga Institute, Lenora does not discriminate based on age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, race, faith-tradition, ability, or cultural background. We truly welcome students from all faith traditions and spiritual paths to join us and honor the seeds of truth that unite all human beings as children of God.
