It is my goal to make everyone feel welcome in the yoga classes I instruct. Modern yoga can sometimes be marketed to exclude people, but yoga isn't just for people who can stand on their hands and put their feet behind their heads - it's for everyone, in every body.
I've taken two trauma-informed yoga trainings, a chair yoga training, a kids yoga training, and an Accessible Yoga training (with Amber Karnes!). I have also had two surgeries on my right knee since November of 2018, so I've learned through the recovery process how to adapt poses to make sure I get what I need out of them while keeping my injury protected.
Currently I teach Yoga For Every Body at Yoga U in Pittsburgh on Wednesday nights at 7 pm. Please join me!
