Robyn Love is a C-IAYT, E-RYT 500 and founder of the Atha Yoga School. She has two decades of personal practice and over 2000 hours of training in yoga as it was taught by Sri Krishnamacharya and his son, TKV Desikachar. She studied with Guta Hedewig, founder of The Yoga School NY, as well as her current mentor, Chase Bossart, founder and lead teacher at the Yoga Well Institute in San Francisco, CA. Robyn completed an internship at the renowned Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandarim in Chennai, India, in 2017.
Robyn currently teaches and leads trainings Newfoundland, Canada, as well as offers classes, workshops and 1:1 mentoring online via her school - www.athayoga.ca. She has been one of Yoga Well Institute's online instructors in meditation, yoga philosophy and yoga for eating disorders. Her teaching approach is lively and experiential, always encouraging her students to verify for themselves how the profound teachings of Yoga can manifest in their lives.
In addition to her Yoga training and teaching, Robyn has been a formal student in the Mountain and Rivers Order of Zen Buddhism for almost twenty years. Her teacher is Geoffrey Shugen Arnold, Roshi, the Abbott of Zen Mountain Monastery in Mt. Tremper, NY.
