Seeking a counterbalance to running and lifting weights, Lavon began to practice yoga about 5 years ago. Her passion for yoga grew as she experienced the increased strength and balance, both on and off her mat, that yoga practice brought her. After finding Surya Yoga Studio and practicing there for several months she embarked upon their 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training which she complete in June 2019. She's eager to share the many benefits yoga can offer individuals of all ages and stages in life.
