Kristin Fogard is a experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (e-RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).

Kristin completed her first 40 hour (7 day) yoga teacher training with David Swenson, in Burlington VT (2004) in the Ashtanga lineage.  Inspired by the world of yoga as presented by David and the possibility of leading classes, Kristin went on to complete her 200RYT with Yoga North, Duluth (2005) in the Hatha tradition.   Since then, she has attended workshop trainings with David Williams, Doug Swenson, Govinda, Michele Syme, Matthew Sweeney, Tim Feldman and Tanya Soward-Bogenzehim and Katie Schuver (to name a few amazing instructors in the Ashtanga and flow lineage).

A desire to deepen her knowledge of anatomy led Kristin to the YogaFit brand, where she found herself working toward a second 200RTY in a vinyasa/flow lineage. 

Since 2004, Kristin has taught over 2000 hours in a studio and YMCA setting, and has attended over 400 hours of training for personal growth and enrichment. 

Comfortable in leading restorative, gentle, hatha, vinyasa and ashtanga, Kristin brings a strong sense of working safely in the poses through technique and alignment, while tailoring the postures to fit the individual.
