I started practicing yoga as soon as my mother could bring me to her classes. Growing up with a yoga teacher as my mom was not always easy, and as young girl, I fell out of a regular practice. However, when I injured my knee in my teens and started practicing again as part of my recovery, I quickly remembered that yoga, health, and happiness, go hand in hand. This is what yoga is to me. Yoga is balance. It is a moment to breathe, and check in with the body when life around us can get chaotic or stressful. Yoga fosters strength, flexibility, and joy, for mind and body- both on and off the yoga mat. I completed my multi-style Teachers Training at Trimurti Yoga in India in 2017.
When I teach, I pay special attention to practicing safely with the good anatomical alignment, and moving with breath. Yoga isn't about a certain body-type or lifestyle, everyone can practice yoga. In my classes, I hope you will find a safe space to reconnect with yourself, your body and your inner joy
