Are you looking for a healing, restorative space to recharge and reset? Do you often feel rigid or tight in your body? Do you wish to find a sense of softness and ease, a sense of fluidity in your movements and breath? Do you sometimes feel put-off by the loud environments and hurried movements of other fitness and yoga classes?
In each of my classes, I aim to offer an inclusive asana practice that is organically paced to the rhythmical rise and fall of the breath. My classes emphasize finding a place of "steadiness and ease" by isolating and exploring the micro-movements of yoga.
Off the mat, I own and operate LCF Writing Services LLC, a queer-owned digital content agency. I document my journey through yoga, minimalism, and positive sexuality over at my living portfolio site, Learning to Fly with Tangled Wings. Check out this post on inclusive cueing and creating intentionally safe, diverse, and equitable yoga spaces.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time doing absolutely nothing at all. Sometimes that means taking care of my plants, or going for a walk with my dog, or playing a round of cribbage with my hubby. I also volunteer with the Center for Positive Sexuality, a nonprofit that "addresses social issues through sex positive research and education." Read my post on the Center for Positive Sexuality's blog on Yoga as Social Justice: Equality and Equity in Self-Hood.
I hope to see you in the studio soon!
