Dan is a E-RYT 500 who was trained in Power Vinyasa Yoga and Trauma Informed Yoga. He is a teacher who focuses on Trauma Informed yoga teaching and how the proper mechanics of the body system as a whole internally and externally, work towards an improved quality of living. Dan is also a mediation teacher that understands the powerful and scientific impact that breath has on our every day living, as well as coping with stress. He has worked teaching both regular studio based classes and teaching yoga to military in a deployed military environment, as well as retreats. Dan has trained with Warriors At Ease and Kelsy Timas at Guiding Wellness Institute. He has also trained with Yoga Medicine and Tiffany Cruikshank which focuses on a Therapeutic Yoga style that is anatomically based.
He has taught at veteran retreats focusing on Trauma Informed yoga as well as mindfulness meditation based practices. He is a Certified iRest teacher using this as a tool for military and non-military alike.
Dan understands that yoga is universal and appropriate for all bodies and people. Yoga is a journey that is unique to every individual and supports the learning experience that we all take.
