I focus on movement of the body and breath. Being conscious of breath while being aware of the sensations occurring in the body. Being aware of the breath aids us to be mindful in the present moment. Being aware of the sensations throughout our practice and where our limitations are prevents injury.
Your breath is also beneficial when working through any stressful situation whether it is work or just daily life.
I teach at Brooksville Yoga Company and also do private classes. I enjoy teaching slow flow as it gives us the time to focus on breath/body movement. I also love teaching Yoga Nidra, Yin, Meditation, Long Slow Deep Stretching, Gentle, and Vinyasa.
