My playful and creative Yoga classes are fashioned to meet you where you are and to empower you as a practitioner— new or experienced! Please join my warm and remarkable Yoga community for…
· Gentle and supportive Yoga practice— especially geared toward our miraculous and constantly evolving bodies, minds, and spirits.
· Sustainable, mindful movement that helps you to feel more naturally "at home" in your own body.
· A friendly and relaxed place to learn, explore, and ask questions.
· A loving and spacious “pause and reset” to help you to reframe and inspire your day.
Taught through an accessible lens, each practice is “patiently paced” and welcoming— and naturally offers a wide variety of variations, props, and supportive options for your added safety, comfort, and confidence. We'd love to have you!
I am honored to have received both my 200 and my 300-hour teaching certifications from Seattle Yoga Arts. In addition to my ongoing (and lifelong!) Yoga studies, I’ve completed my 30-hour Restorative Yoga training with Judith Hanson Lasater and my 30-hour Certification in Accessible Yoga with Jivana Heyman. I've also just tied up my 30-hour “Yoga For Healthy Aging” training with Baxter Bell and Melina Meza.
A dedicated home-practitioner since 1999, my own Yoga practice informs my curiosity and walks hand-in-hand with my teaching. It is my hope that my classes inspire my students to cultivate their own personal practice, creativity, and growth! What a joy it is to travel this path together.
My life’s passions include not only Yoga, but also motherhood, partnership, and all things nature, art, music, film, and theatre. A native Midwesterner, I have a degree in Vocal Music and Theatre (Acting) from Beloit College—and I found regional success as a voice-over artist and commercial actor. You might remember me (most notably) as “Babs” the caterpillar in the Money Tree commercials!
