A retired Army combat veteran, Peter started yoga to manage the stress of living as a civilian with complex post-traumatic stress. They started on the path of mindfulness by teaching Taoist yoga, meditation, and Qi Gong in 2015, and completed 200-hour vinyasa flow teacher training in 2018. After a profound spiritual awakening at an advanced yoga teacher workshop in Sedona, Peter began what has now become over two years of focused training as a shamanic practitioner.
Today, Peter teaches Spirit Yoga. An integrative amalgam of all the practices they have learned so far. Peter’s classes are always changing and evolving, and they bring a playfulness and dynamic fiery and joyful energy to the work that is their soul’s purpose: helping other people overcome stress and trauma, and fall in love with their life.
