On Namah Sivaya and Greetings.  Shelly Rohde (ShivaPrem) completed the Sivananda Teacher Training Course in Grass Valley, California on November 10, 2018,  The International Sivananda Yoga Vedante Centre's foundation is based on the teachings of Swami Sivananda and were brought to the West in 1959 by Swami Vishnudevanda. The training included education in all four paths of yoga: Bhakti, Raja, Jnana and Karma.  Classes are structured with the 5 points of yoga at the forefront: Proper Exercise, Proper Breathing, Proper Relaxation, Proper Diet and Positive Thinking (Vedanta) and Meditation (Dhyana).  I am honored and grateful to share with my students the wisdom and knowledge of the gurus. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
