My classes are strongly focused on relaxation and include asanas (yoga poses), pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation. All classes are suitable for beginners. My main goal when I am teaching is for students to find that by the end of class they are happier, calmer, more relaxed and more at peace with themselves and with the world around them than when they first entered the yoga studio. A complete and balanced practice of yoga is a way of life that leads not just to a healthier body but a calmer, happier and more fulfilling experience of life.
At the moment my greatest pleasure is to introduce a beginner / someone whose yoga practice has previously been incomplete to a complete and well balanced practice.
As an ERYT-500hrs I could teach advanced students and even train others to become yoga teachers but this is not the path that I want to follow at the moment. Coming from India and having known of great yoga masters I know that I am not ready for this responsibility and there are many deeper aspects of yoga that I am only beginning to understand myself. If you are teaching yourself or think of yourself as an advanced student, you should consider looking for a teacher who is offering advanced classes.
