Movement and creative expression have always been important in Maija’s life. The physical aspect of yoga is where her journey started- feeling drawn to the practice of asana after years of dancing. From there she continued traveling deeper, opening her body-mind-heart to the more subtle layers of the Self and the mysteries of the Universe. Inspired by the teachings of tantra and ayurveda- the sister sciences of yoga- Maija now guides others on their journeys towards a more healthy and fulfilling life.
Maija teaches Hatha, Tantra, Vinyasa and YinYang Yoga, as well as several meditation techniques.
She is currently studying to become a licensed Psychosocial Therapist at Inner Life Academy in Vught (NL).
Yoga in all its forms has given Maija a solid foundation in life, a deep connection with Mother Nature and resilience to deal with the challenges and traumas of human life. Grateful for all her lessons so far, she is looking forward to connect with you on your personal journey.
