Practising since teenage different kinds of exercise such as fitness, cycling or climbing, Monica started stretching regularly very early, going deeper into it and researching about it later on, after an injury. With the knowledge acquired and through long years of practice, she developed naturally a stretching system that worked best for her, only to find in amazement it was very similar to the principles underlying Yin Yoga when she started practising. This fact sparked her curiosity about Yoga and she wanted to learn more. Now Monica Perez is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance who completed her teacher training in Diya Yoga school, India, in March 2018.
