Johanna has been doing yoga on and off for about 20 years, but it wasn’t until 2012 that she committed to a more regular practice. It was during that time that she realized that yoga is more than exercise. It is a way to relieve stress, rebalance the body and mind, and quiet down in our busy world. On a physical level, it has helped her improve her flexibility, balance and strength and led her to become more aware of her own body. Johanna who has Scoliosis has found yoga immensely helpful in relaxing her back muscles while strengthening them at the same time.
Johanna is originally from Germany and has lived in Utah, California, Mississippi, Arkansas and Florida. She completed her RYT 200 training with Erin Mulligan at Yoga Alliance-accredited EMYOGA in Greenwood. Johanna is the owner of Love Your Health LLC, which offers health coaching, fitness and yoga instruction.
Johanna hopes to share the wonderful benefits yoga has to offer with her students, so they too may live happier, healthier and more peaceful lives.
