Anil Bijalwan was born and raised in a Brahmin family of yoga practitioners in Rishikesh, India. Being immersed in yoga since childhood, he learned yoga from a young age. She loves working with people, helping them and sharing her knowledge to change lives through yoga.

At 15, he joined Seva Dharma Ashram in the Himalayas, where he stayed for two years to learn meditation. She spent a year learning at the Yoga Study Center in Rishikesh and completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh India, with Arsha Yoga Dham. She continued her training at UIPS (University Institute of Professional Studies) in Rishikesh, where she received her certification in yoga and has since completed her 300-hour yoga teacher training. He has taught in China, Mumbai, Haridwar and Rishikesh and has donated his time to teach for free in the government schools of Rishikesh.

He met famous yogis like Swami Atma Giri Ji, Dr. Anant Pal Pawar, Swami Navinand Ji and Yogi Kamal Ji. There, under his guidance, he learned various styles of yoga.

Yogi Anil specializes in Ashtanga/Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Traditional Hatha Yoga, Sivananda Yoga and Asana Adjustments/Alignments. She has immense experience and knowledge in yoga culture, yogic diet, Bikram yoga, yoga nidra, meditation and power yoga. Anil founded Yoga Sutra Rishikesh, which offers drop-in yoga classes in Rishikesh.
