Based in Brighton & Hove, Kim is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-200 RYT) and Registered Pre & Postnatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT ) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS)
Following a successful +20 year career in the corporate world, overworked and stressed with a number of health issues, Kim decided to make a change in her life and discovered the secrets of holistic health and sustainable wellbeing through balance in nutrition, movement & mindset.
Kim’s journey with Yoga started over 20 years ago being an avid fitness fan favoring dynamic movement from pumping iron in the gym to Ashtanga; that was all the rage back then! Over the years she has experienced many different forms of fitness from running to being a cross-fit enthusiast. Resulting in too many injuries she turned again to Yoga to restore and become more mindful of her body’s needs. Kim still enjoys a powerful Vinyasa, however today prefers Slow Flow, Restorative and Yin.
With her holistic approach, in her teaching style she seeks to help others thrive in life by nurturing the body, mind and soul through yoga. She encourages her students to turn inwards, tap into their intuition and notice what’s going on in their bodies. Kim is passionate about creating yoga that is personal to every individual practitioner. Bringing a focus to the breath, intention and presence in her classes, she aims to create a nurturing, revitalising and a soulful experience for all. Her wish is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.
In 2018, Kim qualified to teach Yin Yoga and studied under Sally Parkes in the UK to achieve her certification in Pre & Post Natal, Mother & Baby Yoga. She is currently studying with Tiffany Cruishank.
Kim holds a professional diploma in Nutritional Studies, Integrative, Culinary and Plant Based Nutrition and is an accredited ICF Life Coach.
