Natasha has been studying yoga for most of her life.
She is the founder of “Ashtanga Yoga Thessaloniki / Ashtanga Yoga by Natasha Symeonidou", happy and honored to provide a safe enviroment to develop an individualized practice, devoid of dogma, transformative in every level.
Her school is registered with Yoga Alliance as a 200h RYS, with Natasha offering teacher training programmes in Hatha / Ashtanga Yoga. 

Her teachings combine the traditional holistic and therapeutic approach of yoga with the utmost of the current scientific research, since she is taking part in breakthrough wellness educational programmes.

She is a long time direct student of Manju Pattabhi Jois, the oldest son of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, having studied extensively in numerous teacher trainings, workshops and apprenticeship, grateful for his blessings, is certified to teach in his tradition, also honored to be hosting and assisting him during his workshops in Thessaloniki.

Formerly, after years of studying yoga and with a dance and pilates background, she completed the TT in Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow yoga, also trained in Anusara yoga and has participated in numerous  trainings, workshops and classes regarding Ashtanga, Iyengar, Hatha Kriya,  Integral yoga, Satyananda, Jivanmukti, Kundalini, Pregnancy Yoga, Yoga Anatomy& Therapy, Wellness education etc. She is a long time student of Indian philosophy. All of these studies are incorporated in her teaching, in a compassionate and intelligent approach to the yoga practice.

As a pre school teacher and a mother, she specialized in yoga teacher trainings for children and adolescents in London, where she completed Yoga for children as well as the Yoga for the Special Child TT-The Sonia Sumar method. The latter is a method designed to increase cognitive and motor skills in infants, children and adolescents with learning and developmental disabilities, attention deficit disorder, hyperactivity, autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy etc. 
For several years she had been working with children in YMCA Thessaloniki. She has been a member of the Greek Society for Music Education, giving yoga classes for musicians. She has a long experience teaching yoga to adults and children in many studios.

She is registered with Yoga Alliance as an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher E-RYT500, a RCYT (Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher) and a YACEP (continuing education provider).
