Alison is a versatile, creative and spirited Irish Yoga and Meditation teacher. As a child and teen, she studied classical ballet, before attending the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. Her creative flair has always shown in her career choices, working in the Arts and Film Industry in Ireland. Though she began to feel there was something missing and decided to explore her passion for yoga and soon it became more than a career move, for her, it has become a vocation.
Her goal is to create a playful environment where students can explore and be curious, build strength on and off the mat. Alison thrives on empowering others through yoga and meditation. Her aim is to make you feel empowered, totally uplifted and in love with your yoga practice. Alison enjoys playing with the Yin and Yang of yoga offering sweaty Vinyasa and stillness of Yin. She works with a range of abilities, ages, and expectations, expect to make noise and expect to find comfortable silence.
Yoga Nidra has become a true passion for Alison and she loves sharing this passion with her students. Recently she has explored more sound based meditations and the power of Mantra Singing - as studied at the Devi Ashram in Rishikesh. Alison is studying the Harmonium and Kalimba and starting to integrate more musical elements into her personal practice and teaching.
