My name is Catherine Bellwald. I started practicing Yoga when I was 17 and I still continue to be and feel like a Yoga practitioner today.
In these many years of practice I had moments of great intensity, with daily practices and quieter moments and also linked to monthly intensive seminars or weekly courses.
I had many teachers and I received a lot from all of them, not only in terms of technique and method but als of real insights.
Yoga knows the ego but allows us to dissociate from it, takes us by the hand and leads us beyond the limits of the mind but never beyond the limits of the body. The body is shaped like a well-worked dough, assuming with extreme naturalness postures that initially seemed unattainable to us.
Well done yoga also adapts to physical problems but, only through intelligence and perseverance it has the possibility of becoming a real help, first physical and then also deeper.
Yoga for me has only one name and one heart and always leads inward; everything else is entertainment.
