Sarah Gaden is a registered yoga teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of yoga training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
I have been practicing yoga since 1997. I have tried many forms of exercise and have always come back to yoga to help repair, strengthen, reduce stress, tone and just make my life a better place to be in. My husband works in the ER and because of this, I'm very aware of the importance of self-care both mentally and physically. We are parents of two boys ages 10 and 12 and our 1-year-old husky/bloodhound, Buster. We live in the country on 6 acres and appreciate the beauty of the natural world.
I specialize in yoga for all levels, all body types, and all ages. I teach yoga with compassion and love for everyone. I want to help my community be healthy for a better quality of life. We all need to move more, we all need to take time to care for ourselves more, and we all need to truly listen to our bodies and minds a little more.
My yoga teaching style is to thoroughly explain yoga, the postures, and the purpose of the specific movement. My words and examples will help the student to understand the practice with the intention they take my teachings home and continue using yoga techniques throughout their lives.
I also teach "event" yoga such as goat yoga and wine & beer yoga. These classes are fun and reach a different level of student. Generally the event yoga attendee is not very familiar with the practice so these classes are a great way to spread awareness of the benefits of practice.
I try to live my life as an example to my children. No regrets, be happy, be kind, and enjoy your life to its fullest.
