My yoga journey began in 2009 and since that time, my soul journey has been beautifully transformed. I have a successful full-time career, sharing Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes, workshops, festivals, worldwide retreats and yoga community. My yoga journey expanded spontaneously and rapidly, unfolding with many enriching experiences, colourful travels, beautiful friendships and soul growth.

My twenties were dedicated to exploring our exquisite world in the wild of Africa, the colour of South America and Costa Rica, the exotic tropics of Asia, the culture of India, Sri Lanka and the Himalaya of Nepal. Experiencing the beauty of our world from sunrise to sunset, I fell head over heels, enamoured with life. I married my Peruvian husband in the Andes of Peru and returned home after a decade of discovery. I found life distant and disconnected on my return to the U.K, as if the world had lost its colour. It was then that I discovered yoga. My thirties have been a very different kind of journey, an inner journey. The path of yoga lights the way to our inner world: an ocean without depths, bliss beyond beauty, an expanse without horizon and love’s forever open arms.

As a writer and teacher of Literature, I am innately inspired by language and art; therefore creative narrative, classical yoga texts and mythic story infuse my choreography. My love of nature and beauty, movement and music, culture and tradition are expressed through practice of yoga and these elements inspire my sequencing.

These creative qualities are woven within precise alignment of classical asana. Flowing transitions between dynamic and static asana, guided by the rhythm of the breath, creates a graceful dance of breath and movement, gently returning to an inner space of stillness and serenity. I design each class with a balance of alignment, yoga assists, form and flow; pranayama, Indian philosophy and meditation.

Tapas has burned brightly and I have completed a thousand hours of training: Triyoga teacher training diploma, London (390 hours); Vinyasa Flow Yoga teacher training with Claire Missingham (200 hours); pre and postnatal teacher training with Katy Appleton (95 hours); advanced teacher training with Sianna Sherman, Berlin (300 hour). My time in India allowed authentic insight into the history, tradition and practice of yoga. ‘The better you practice, the brighter the flame’ ~ BKS Iyengar.

I have been fortunate in working with world renowned international tutors including Claire Missingham, Sianna Sherman, Shiva Rea and Jeff Phenix, who have instilled authenticity and inspiration into my practice and teaching.

I am a registered Chartered Level 1 Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals and RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance. I offer authentic, creatively inspired intermediate and beginner Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes, corporate yoga and private yoga sessions. My latest class innovations are pregnancy and teen yoga. Additionally, I lead regular yoga workshops, incorporating elements of yoga philosophy, mythic story, live music and restorative yoga.

I lead Vinyasa Flow Yoga Retreats in the UK, India, Sri Lanka and worldwide. These include two daily yoga practices, exploring: asana, pranayama, yoga philosophy, meditation, yin yoga, restorative yoga and yoga nidra. I offer an authentic retreat experience, infusing nature, culture, live music, massage and vegetarian organic food into these retreats.

In addition, I work for Sardinia Yoga in Italy, Spain and Croatia, offering a dynamic yoga class in the morning, a restorative session in the afternoon and excursions.

Lotus Love Yoga participated in Yoga Connects Festival, sharing vibrant Vinyasa Flow Yoga in stunning, natural surroundings.
