Sarah Scharf (MFA) teaches to create resilience, freedom, awareness and wellbeing for every student. She leads yoga trainings, retreats, mentors new teachers and is a senior assistant with Judith Lasater. She has taught for Yogacampus, The Life Centre and Triyoga among other studios. Sarah is one of the few teachers in Europe to hold an Advanced Relax and Renew© Certification. She is also a specialist in Pre-Natal Yoga. Currently she is writing a book to help yoga teachers use theatre techniques to be better teachers. Attention to detail and safe alignment are key elements of her teaching, as well as mindfulness meditation and a deep understanding of the body which allows her to adapt poses individually. Her theatre background allows her to connect with groups both large and small, and her training in bodywork informs her approach to physical practice. Originally from California, she is now based in Vienna where she lives with her husband and young son. She has been teaching yoga since 2004. www.sarahscharf.com
