When practicing with Amy, you are likely to find passion, challenge, fun—and lots of it. Amy’s energetic personality coupled with her down-to-earth, mid-western sense of humor and stable values makes her a triple threat of power, ease and warmth.

An upbringing sprinkled with instability and chronic health issues led Amy Wolff on a quest for stability, inside and out, within her own body and in personal relationships. She needed a touchstone to keep her grounded in health and well-being within her mind, body and spirit.

Her autoimmune issues began in her teens. Later, a traumatic child birth ultimately led to her needing hip surgery at 36. Throughout her tumultuous journey to find health and wellness, she discovered her stable practices, which she was in need of as she felt like the Western Medicine methods she tried all failed her.

Once she became her own advocate and discovered yoga, meditation, and holistic, integrative wellness, Amy was able to heal herself. It gave her a transformative epiphany: We all have a stable home within us. We only need to look within to find it.

In 2020, when things felt particularly unstable for the masses, Amy became increasingly called by her inner guidance to share this wisdom she had gathered with the world.

In order to do that, she created The Stable Life to guide people on their journey to cultivate and commit to their own stable practices and tune into the touchstone within in order to live happy, healthy and fulfilled lives.

“It’s the tiny daily shifts in practice and perspective that create the biggest impact,” Amy says. “Healing doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a commitment of choices and small practices, habits and patterns that come together to make a monumental impact.”

Amy is currently the co-owner of The Yoga Post and founder of the The Sonoma County Yoga School, both located in Petaluma, CA. She is also a grad student at AIMC Berkeley studying Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine where she is continuing her passion for learning and healing.

When not studying or teaching yoga, Amy can be spotted camping in her VW Vanagon, hiking and foraging in the forest or sharing her favorite new green smoothie and veggie soup recipes with students and friends.
