About Eight Limbs Yoga

Katia is an Italian teacher, bilingual French and English. She is a 500 RYT with Yoga Alliance, graduating her first 200 Hours in 2015, while living in Dubai and her 300 hours in 2017, in Chikmagalur, Bengalur, India. She is confident in teaching her Vinyasa or HtTha Yoga...

Katia is an Italian teacher, bilingual French and English. She is a 500 RYT with Yoga Alliance, graduating her first 200 Hours in 2015, while living in Dubai and her 300 hours in 2017, in Chikmagalur, Bengalur, India. She is confident in teaching her Vinyasa or HtTha Yoga classes both in Italian, French and English.

Her internationally mobile lifestyle has brought her to Southafrica right after graduating, so she started moving her first steps as a yoga professional in Johannesburg, collaborating with Earthyoga studio by teaching both Hatha and Vinyasa classes.

Moved back to the Italian side of Switzerland, in January 2017, she has taught  her gentle flow style, both at Yogalaya and Annapurna studios for 1 year and a half. From January 2017, Katia has started supporting small groups of pregnant women, through gentle, opening and restorative yoga classes. This experience inspired her to take an intensive 65 Hours yoga for pregnancy training in Lugano, Switzerland, held by Yoga Dinamico. Relocated to Antwerp since August 2018, she has opened her own home yoga studio "Eight Limbs Yoga", where she holds both strong and mils vinyasa classes, pre and post natal classes.

Her style is nurturing and reflecting of her true Self: kind, joyful, energising and stress-releasing. When she plans her classes, Katia pays particular attention to body axes alignment and chakras energy balancing in the body-mind. This results in providing a fully stimulating and unique experience each single time. 

Katia loves to constantly focusing on the breath work that leads the movement, both by including pranayama techniques in all classes and also by guiding breath rhythm all through the practice.
