Growing up in London, Ontario I was involved in competitive wrestling at a young age, putting great physical demands on my body. In 2008, after the birth of my second son, I was drawn to yoga as a way to regain physical strength and confidence in a more peaceful way. The calmness of a yoga practice, combined with the physical benefits are what continue to draw me back to my mat. I completed my initial 500 hour RYT training in 2012 at Moksha Yoga Victoria and have completed continuing education in Yin Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Hot Stone Massage, Thai massage, and Barre Fitness. I also enjoy chocolate, wine and travel and my favorite yoga pose is anything that pushes me outside of my comfort zone and challenges me.
