Luisa Ortega is Chihuahua first children's certified  yoga teacher. The brainchild of founder and director Luisa Ortega, of PretzelYoguis holds the vision of creating a world of peace through the union of yoga and children. Founded in 2010, Pretzelyoguis came about when Luisa decided to contribute in some way to sow seeds of peace in Chihuahua. She  combine her passion for  teach art and yoga with her love of children. Pretzelyoguis hosts professionally classes, workshops of Education for Peace and conferences relating to every aspect of children’s yoga. These include prenatal yoga classes, yoga classes tailored for children from toddlers to teens; Trainings and workshops on child health, art and ecology; and workshops for children with special needs. As a result, Pretzelyoguis classes incorporate lessons in creativity, self-acceptance, interpersonal skills, environmental awareness and positive thinking, amongst others. These lessons offer children, and their parents alike helpful tools for everyday life and the skills to share them. Having trained directly with Shakta Kaur Khalsa the ‘grandmother’ of children’s yoga, she is also a certified facilitator of the Radiant Child Yoga Program® and Basic "Yoga for the Special Child". Additionally, Luisa is a certified ERCYT 200 kids and teens yoga teacher, and also a great art and architecture teacher.
