Yvonne deGorter is the owner of Yoga Off Broadway in Eagle, Colorado. She has been living and teaching yoga in the Vail Valley since 2007. After practicing and studying yoga for six years she began her first formal teacher training at the South West Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. While at SWHI she studied Anusaura, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Restorative yoga with Jim Keegan and Mary Bruce.

Upon moving to Colorado Yvonne completed a 200 hr RYT certification through Inner Power Yoga with R.R. Shakti, her Anjali Restorative Yoga training with Julia Clarke, Vinyasa Krama Training with Rod Stryker, The Four Desires Program with Rod Stryker, Buti Yoga Certification with Bizzie Gold, continuing education with Seane Corn, and countless other leadership programs and yoga training. 

She has over 16 years of teaching experience and enjoys teaching all levels of students.  She loves the challenge of meeting the needs of each person (beginner to advanced) and encouraging students to grow in their own personal practice both on and off the mat. Her classes are straightforward and light-hearted. There is a mix of finding your edge and finding release.

Yvonne is also passionately involved in her community. She is the coordinator of Yoga in the Park which meets each Sunday during the summer in the Eagle Town Park. Yoga in the Park’s mission is to raise money for community organizations through donations. Yvonne is also the producer of Eagle YogaFest; bringing three days of yoga and music to the Town of Eagle and the creator of Stay@OM Yoga On Demand. 

Yvonne truly believes that yoga is for Every Body and her mission is to bring together communities through yoga. She works hard to help students feel connected through their yoga community through classes, events, and giving back.
