Cindy returned to yoga, after a long absence, as a way to quiet her mind, relieve stress and dedicate time just to herself. She didn’t anticipate how much that the mindfulness, self awareness and feeling of calm would continue beyond the mat.
She joined Yogashala Waterdown in 2014 as a member and shortly after became a regular volunteer at the front desk. Eager to learn more and delve deeper into her practice, Cindy completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2016 under the guidance of Barb Leese. Cindy has since continued her yoga education by taking training in restorative and yin yoga. She is currently working towards her RYT-500. Cindy currently leads weekly spinal rejuvenation series and yin classes.
Cindy is also a Registered Early Childhood Educator and completed her 95 hour children's yoga teacher training with Young Yoga Masters in July 2018.
Cindy is excited to continue her yoga journey by sharing her love of yoga with others and is thankful to be a part of such a supportive yoga community. She looks forward to seeing you on your mat!
