Teaching has helped me to become more self-aware, reflective, and kind. Collectively, this experience has given me the confidence to use my skills and abilities to help others. I am very grateful for the students, friends, and mentors I've met along the way and continue to meet on this lifelong journey. My favourite things to teach involve slow, deliberate movements, and meditation.
When I'm not teaching or practicing yoga, I enjoy researching how humans think and how thought affects the ways we make decisions. Outside of academics and yoga, I especially enjoy being outside; whether it be on a hike, bike ride, or just spending time with my fiancé and our two English Cocker Spaniels.
