Hunt Parr, BFA, E-RYT, hailing from Petersburg, Alaska, is an NYC-based professional dancer, choreographer and yoga teacher with over 8 years of teaching experience. He was one of the first teachers certified through the Mind Body Dancer® 200 Teacher Training with TaraMarie Perri. He received his second certification from Sacred Sounds Yoga, directed by Adrienne Burke, who was the former head of teacher training at Jivamukti Yoga in NYC. He finished his 300 advanced yoga Teacher Training with Cyndi Lee from OM Yoga. Hunt teaches yoga in and private sessions around New York for a large variety of studios and gyms including Chelsea Piers, Sacred Sounds Yoga, Park Slope Yoga Center, and Jaya Yoga Center, as well as a busy roster of private clients. His vigorous classes explore unique sequencing, strong imagery, and a sense of play! He also loves working with new students, setting them up for a safe and lifelong yoga practice. Hunt's expertise has been called upon as a yoga consultant and teacher for media, film television, including Buzzfeed, A&E Networks, the History Channel and other popular shows featuring yoga. He has also lead retreats and training workshops nation and worldwide.
