Emi has been passionately practicing and studying yoga for more than 18 years during which she has completed various immersions, workshops and earned her Hatha yoga teacher certificate RYT200 with her teacher Chaya Spencer and her Anusara Inspired Teacher certification from the Anusara School of Hatha yoga. Emi received her E-RYT200 after teaching 1000 hours of yoga classes and her RYT300 after finishing 2.5year of 300h teacher training with Shree Yoga Studios following the teachings of the Anusara School of Hatha Yoga. Emi is a RYT500 now and continuing her growith as a yoga teacher and practitioner.

Emi's intention as a teacher is to help each student find their appropriate edge of growth and transformation, with the understanding that even small shifts can bring great a sense of wellbeing and a sense of accomplishment. Her classes combine a deep knowledge of yoga practice that meets each student where they are. Emi’s goal is to support her students, seeing the best in them, and to assist them in their experience of finding the best within themselves.

Emi finished an Anusara 3 day training "Journey of the Heart" at Kripalu center for yoga and health with the Anusara Yoga Certified teachers Tiffany Wood, Jackie Prete, John Seeley, and Chaya Spencer.
