In 2010, I began practicing vinyasa based yoga. Since 2015, I practice Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga on a regular, (almost) daily basis. 2018-2023, I practiced four times for two weeks each with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga teachers Manuel Ferreira and Yan Ong in Malaysia. In 2019, I practiced a month with David Garrigues in India.
2015 to 2018, I got a foundational yoga teaching training of 600 hours through Sri O.P. Tiwari, Dr. Paul Dallaghan, and Arielle Nash in Thailand. 2019, 2022 and 2023, I attended four two week long immersions with Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor in Thailand. Yet another one is planned for 2024. In 2021, I spent two weeks in an immersion with Ty Landrum in Spain. 2022 and 2023, I participated at three teacher intensives with Ty for a total of 10 weeks in Portugal. 2021 to 2023, I followed a two years long program program on philosophy and practice with Ty online. I plan to attend another teacher intensive with Ty in 2024.
In 2015, I started teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. In my classes I want to convey that yoga is much more than lifestyle and fitness, but helps to strengthen awareness of body, breath and mind and to strengthen self-knowledge. With more than 1,500 hours of education and around 2,500 hours of teaching experience, I am registered with the Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT® 500. Recently, I hold my two first weekend long immersions on asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra and philosophy in Mannheim. To book a class with me check out my reservation page.
