I have practiced yoga since it was introduced to me as a grief tool at the age of 13. That practice still serves me today and I embarked on a journey that led her to became a certified yoga teacher in 2016 through YogaFit. I have completed both a 200 hour certificate and a 100 hour yoga warrior certificate through YogaFit.
I regularly attends teacher trainings at the Toronto Yoga Conference and has studied there with Rodney and Colleen Yee (sequence of standing poses and lower back), Jill Miller (roll model), Bo Forbes (yoga of transformation), Christine Felstead (yoga for runners) and Marla Ericson (yin yoga foundations). I am registered this year for training with Richard Miller (iRest),Tiffany Cruikshank (Myofascial Release Revealed) and Scott Anderson (YogAutism).
I continue to train with YogaFit toward my 500 hour with the goal of helping those with special needs, PTSS and to share a yoga toolbox with children and adults so they can be better equipped to face the challenges of life from a positive place.
