I am a yoga and meditation teacher currently based in Melbourne.
Before becoming a yoga teacher, I studied law at Cambridge University, England. I worked as a lawyer for 14 years, juggling the demands of corporate and family life with three young children.
Yoga and meditation provided me with an escape. My mat was my sanctuary - a place that I could permit myself to "switch off” and restore. I believe that my yoga and meditation practice provided me with the tools to become more resilient and face life's challenges off the mat.
The aim of my teaching is to share an accessible yoga practice with others - to encourage calmness, stability and strength in both the body and mind.
I teach yoga and meditation, restorative yoga and yoga for cancer.
I completed my advanced 500 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training with Ciara Cronin at The Yoga Room, Dublin, Ireland. This included Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Yoga & Mindfulness training. I studied Meditation from a yogic perspective for my 500 hour qualification thesis.
I have since completed advanced Yoga for Cancer training with Tari Prinster, a world leader in oncology yoga, based in the US.
