Mitsue was born in Osaka where she was a gymnast when she was a high school student. After graduating technical college, she worked for University Hospital in Osaka. The experience became the base of her physical knowledge of Yoga. The move from Osaka to Tokyo in 1999 was very stressful and as it happens, she read a special feature on yoga in a news paper and decided to start hatha yoga.
In 2005 she met a teacher who taught the Baptiste style yoga in Tokyo. After taking one class, Mitsue was totally hooked and wanted to learn more about Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga. She wanted to spread the fabulous style of Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga across Japan as a certified teacher. She completed level 1 teacher training in Hawaii and Level 2 teacher training in Montana in 2008, and was certified by Baptiste Institute in April, 2009.
She teaches her yoga classes with love, passion, power and fun and tries to help students unlock their heart and body. Mitsue is a marketer in Cardiovascular devices and continues to balance her full time job with her yoga teaching.
