Britt Melton is a yogi, a writer, a speaker of truth and a seeker of beauty on a quest to live an authentic life. With a sensitive soul and an open heart, she is a Graduate of Bhumi's Yoga & Teacher Trainings at the 200 hour level and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. She is a mom, a wife and a friend who loves photography, travel and staring at the ocean.
Britt’s personal story of recovery from Binge Eating Disorder is the focus of her website and blog Oh, How She Blooms! Britt founded Oh, How She Blooms! in January of 2013 with the purpose of living an authentic life through eating disorder recovery. She has used the website and social media to speak her truth and educate others about Binge Eating Disorder, Anxiety Disorder and the power of yoga.
Now recovered from her eating disorder, her dream is to help other women find peace on and off the mat. Britt’s personal experiences have given her an innate knowledge and understanding that she uses to teach others to find stillness and fall in love with their inner beauty. Her goal for herself and others is to move through life with ease, with calm, and with grace. She envisions everyone leaving her classes going out into the world to be love, be light, be yoga.
