Stefan started Yoga in 2004. He started with slow and soft Hatha Yoga, but with a backround of intensive Tae Kwon Do, it wasn't challenging enough. So he started to practice Power Yoga regularly at a studio offering "Vinyasa Power Yoga". In 2010 he attended a 40h Vinyasa Power Yoga Basic Teacher Training. However this wasn't enough and to deepen his studies he continued on into a 250 h Yoga Teacher Training with Jeff Fisher, Clive Radda, Shaktini Steiner and Tanja Maria Mendler at Korperschule Isny, from autumn 2011 till spring 2013. He received his RYT 200 certificate upon sucessful completion.
From September 2015 to May 2017 he vistited the Mahaprana Institut and Yoga Freiraum for the +300 Advanced Teacher Training. The courses with Richard Hackenberg, Meret Hackenberg, Dr. Ralph Skuban, Dr. Jeevan Ellis Parambath, Hans Figueroa, Marion Hofer and Sabine Steinberger included: Advanced practice an theory in asanas, alignment, pranayama, mudra, mantra and meditation. He learned a lot about teaching methodology, advanced anatomy and physiology,adjustment and props using. Sequencing, athletic yoga, yin yoga, yoga nidra, vinyasa krama, hands on, Yoga philosophy and intensive Ayurveda.
Currently Stefan teaches at his own Studio "Yoga am Bahnhof" in Weißenhorn and in Ulm. He especially enjoys teaching the foundations of yoga to beginners. In addition to his studio classes he gives private lessons, workshops on different subjects and organizes international Yoga Retreats.
