Marieke has been deeply inspired by the animals in her life, particularly her wolf dog, Okami, who embodied an other worldy, mythological spirit. She believes in discovering our inner Self through svadhyaya (studentship and self-study), the practice of meditation and asana, and in lifting our voices together in song.

Marieke holds two 200 hour YTT, one for Hatha Yoga from Lotus Bloom School of Yoga in Prescott, Arizona and the other for Anusara Yoga from the Tree of Life Yoga Studio in Tervuren, Belgium. She completed her 300hr Anusara YTT in June 2022 and is a registered Anusara Inspired instructor.

Marieke has studied in Arizona, Belgium, France, Ireland, and the UK. Marieke offers a unique blend of alignment-based yoga and restorative yoga. She performs original music and mantra on harmonium and baritone ukulele during Savasana.
